Seahorse supports Dung Quat Refinery through a multidisciplinary consultancy team covering Operations, Maintenance, Management and Optimisation.

Specialist consultancy at the refinery dates back to 2012. In October 2021, Seahorse formally assumed the O&M service scope under contract with BSR, maintaining technical continuity while strengthening the management and delivery of the consultancy programme.

Seahorse’s team brings together specialists across Process, Mechanical, Automation & Instrumentation, Electrical, HSE, inspection, maintenance, and asset assurance. Experience Across Four Major Turnarounds

The consultancy team’s experience at Dung Quat includes participation in four major refinery turnarounds: TA#2 in 2014, TA#3 in 2017, TA#4 in 2020, and TA#5 in 2024.

During a turnaround, inspection, maintenance, coordination, and restart preparation must be carried out within a tightly controlled window. This requires detailed planning, timely technical decisions, close coordination among disciplines, and a consistent focus on safe execution.

Experience across both daily operations and major turnaround periods gives the team a practical understanding of how technical decisions affect maintenance readiness, equipment reliability, and the plant’s return to stable operation.
